Sat, 24th Oct 2009)
G:TV caught up with J Model Management on Saturday 17th October at Oceana, Birmingham, for the finals of their J Model Management Model Scout 2009.

Since the O Bar Model Party the models had been whittled down to just 10 finalists who competed in Casual, Evening and Swimwear categories. Judges Jessica Minh Anh, Justin Orwin and Chris, Oceana Manager, then chose Chanelle Goodchild, Biher Tewelde and Ashley Smallwood-Rose as their 3 finalists.
G:TV would like to congratulate Ashley who was eventually crowned the J Model Management Model Scout 2009 winner! Ashley has now been signed to J Model.
The evening concluded with a fashion show with brands including Coast, New Era, Henleys, Puma, Aftershock, Preview and Top Rock
Check out our footage from the event in the 'Programmes' section.

G:TV would like to thank Jessica Minh Anh and the J Model Management team for inviting them to this great event and congratulate everyone who helped make the event such a success! Please visit www.jmodelmanagement.co.uk for more information about future J Model events.
Guild of Students infested by zombies by Clare Hall (
Sat, 24th Oct 2009)
On Wednesday 14th October, the Guild of Students was shocked and alarmed by the appearance of 20+ flesh-eating, bloodstained zombies.

G:TV of course remained calm and composed, but then - we had created them after all!

Lauren Barnes, GTV Production Manager, led the group of zombies across campus and through Selly Oak (much to local residents' alarm) to the location where they were to film G:TV's event to the 2009 Monster Movie Challenge.

Watch online to see G:TV's entry to the competition, results of which will be announced on Tues 2nd Nov.
